From the Press Release:

Crime Stoppers of Miami-Dade County and The Florida Keys is pleased to announce an enhanced reward program through the assistance of "Animal Care Now, Inc.," a local non-profit focusing on animal abuse and other animal-related crimes... Tipsters anonymously reporting animal-related criminal activity in Miami-Dade County through Crime Stoppers may find that their crime tip has an enhanced reward attached to it. Animal Care Now has provided a reward fund to add additional money to the existing Crime Stoppers reward on particularly heinous or noteworthy animal-related cases.

Animal Care Now, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides immediate emergency funding for animals in distress. Animal Care Now is not an animal shelter or rescue and is at no time the custodian of the animals. Their role is to provide the financial support required to save lives through emergency grants, and in the case of Crime Stoppers, the ANC fund will assist with focusing a spotlight on the abundance of animal abuse in the region.

The Tipster may call the Tipline at 305 471-8477 on weekdays, 9 am to 4 pm for updates on their tip. Updates can also be requested via text dialogue using the “Update or Check Your Tip Status” link on www.CrimeStoppers305.com using the tip number and password. Not all tips will result in a reward, as not all tips are detailed enough for law enforcement to begin an investigation

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 3, 2019

MIAMI, FLORIDA -

Crime Stoppers of Miami-Dade County and The Florida Keys is pleased to announce an enhanced reward program through the assistance of "Animal Care Now, Inc.," a local non-profit focusing on animal abuse and other animal-related crimes.

In the coming days, Tipsters anonymously reporting animal-related criminal activity in Miami-Dade County through Crime Stoppers may find that their crime tip has an enhanced reward attached to it. Animal Care Now has provided a reward fund to add additional money to the existing Crime Stoppers reward on particularly heinous or noteworthy animal-related cases.

The additional reward will be paid out in cash along with any Crime Stoppers reward, at a local banking partner, just as every Crime Stoppers reward is processed. The Tipster must be anonymous to both law enforcement and Crime Stoppers staff. The animal abuse or criminal activity reported must lead to an arrest. As always, tips can be left via phone or the internet 24 hours a day.

When the Tipster calls for a tip update, it is necessary to have the tip code and password, which is given when the tip is received. Crime Stoppers Tip Coordinators cannot identify the tip or the Tipster without the tip code information as all Crime Stoppers calls and online activities are anonymous.

The Tipster may call the Tipline at 305 471-8477 on weekdays, 9 am to 4 pm for updates on their tip. Updates can also be requested via text dialogue using the “Update or Check Your Tip Status” link on www.CrimeStoppers305.com using the tip number and password. Not all tips will result in a reward, as not all tips are detailed enough for law enforcement to begin an investigation.

Crime Stoppers Miami and The Florida Keys is an innovative program which offers monetary rewards to individuals who provide anonymous information regarding criminal activity to the organization. Founded as a non-profit in early 1981, Crime Stoppers takes the anonymous information and forwards it to the proper law enforcement agencies for investigation. Our mission is simple and limited. Crime Stoppers simply acquires tips information and passes on as an anonymous clearinghouse for the South Florida community.

Crime Stoppers of Miami-Dade County added the Florida Keys to our region in 2014. We currently serve constituents from the Broward County line to the City of Key West in Monroe County.
