Found hit by car in Redlands, Miami, FL

Redland Rockpit Abandoned Dogs Project received a call early Tuesday morning about a shepherd that was laying in the middle of the road on Krome Ave with 3 other large German Shepherds around her. Per the vet she was struck by a vehicle and dragged under the vehicle. She is about 4 months old. Her condition is improving she is stable but still critical. She had an MRI done which showed a hematoma in the brain stem, a mandibular fracture, skull fracture, pulmonary contusions, spiral fracture in one leg and multiple lacerations in the other. She will need round the clock medical and rehabilitation care for at least three months and she may possibly need surgery on the fractured leg later on.
